Raikkonen ‘never 100% happy after testing’

Kimi Raikkonen says he is “never 100% happy after testing” but is confident Ferrari is making progress with the SF15-T.

A slow morning yielded just 28 laps for Raikkonen before a more productive afternoon took his lap tally up to 80. Having set the sixth fastest time on the medium tyre - some 2.8s off the pace set by Felipe Massa - Raikkonen admits he wants to see further steps forward over the final three days.

“I think you’re never 100% happy after testing but it’s the same story,” Raikkonen said. “We try to do our own stuff and we would like to have more time but that’s the same for everybody and hopefully we will learn the right things and be happy once we get to the first race.”

And Raikkonen says there are no specific areas where he feels Ferrari needs to improve ahead of the first race.

“You always want more power and more grip and we’ve been working on all the areas. We’ve done a good step from last year. It’s hard to say from testing but the next few weeks will tell us once we go to Australia.”
