Formula 1 teams concluded their 2017 campaign on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi, with Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel remaining at the top of the timesheet.

Pirelli's two-day tyre test ended with the German driver comfortably ahead, although Vettel did not improve on his morning's best of 1:37.551.

Mercedes Valtteri Bottas on the other did go faster late in the day, clocking in with 141 laps and 1:38.490, or just about a second off the Ferrari's best time.

Robert Kubica took over from Sergey Sirotkin at Williams to put 28 laps under his belt and finish his all-important test with the Grove-based outfit with a best lap of 1:39.485, almost 0.5s faster than the Russian's best for the day.

The BBC's Andrew Benson remarked on Twitter that "Kubica's deficit to Vettel was within 0.1secs the same as Massa's deficit to Vettel in qualifying," although he insisted the information was of very little value.
