Two F1 race fans apparently bribed their way on to the Marina Bay race track last weekend, and Singapore's organizers are now investigating the security breach.

The matter came to light as a result of an over-zealous couple posting their feat on Facebook.

The post read: "3am in the morning. Bribed the security guard to let us onto the track. He not only agreed, he took the photo. Non F1 fans won't understand this, but most of us will."

The Singapore GP organisers is now working with the security personnel assigned to that area of the track to find out exactly what happened.

"The safety of our patrons is of utmost priority and we view allegation(s) of bribery seriously," said a spokesperson for the Marina Bay event.
