Robert Kubica set for F1 test!

Robert Kubica will test an F1 car for the very first time since a rally accident halted the talented Pole's career in Grand Prix racing in February of 2011.

Kubica nursed himself back to health after his accident at the Andorra rally, but left the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix winner with an impaired right arm.

He subsequently returned to the rally fray but tested earlier this year at GP3 car in Italy before sampling an Formula E racer.

Kubica was also scheduled to race this season in the World Endurance Championship for the By Kolles LMP1 team, but pulled out of the deal just days before the season kicked off in Silverstone.

Reports are now saying that Kubica will enjoy a test run in Valencia tomorrow, driving Renault's show car, a 2012-spec Lotus E20.

Renault reserve driver Sergey Sirotkin is also scheduled to drive the car in Valencia, perhaps to set a benchmark time.
