T-wing development likely ending, says Force India

Force India tech boss Andy Green doesn't believe teams will take the ubiquitous T-wing concept to further extremes.

Since its introduction earlier this year, the aerodynamic appendage has gone from single to triple wing configuration on some cars, with new oval concepts also coming into play.

Both Force India and Renault cars appeared in Monaco sporting a rear tri-wing version, but the former believes the device has likely reached its development peak.

"For us, the triple decker is quite Monaco-specific," Andy Green told Motorsport.com.

"Maybe we will have a variant of that in Singapore or possibly Hungary, but at the other tracks we will see a reduced version of it.

"Track efficiency dictates, really, what you can put on the car."
