Massa confident Williams will bounce back at Spa

As he reflects during the summer break on his team's fruitless Hungarian Grand Prix, Williams driver Felipe Massa believes the Magyar stumble was uncommon and that the Grove squad will be back in the running at Spa and for the remainder of the 2015 season.

Neither Massa nor Bottas succeeded in scoring any points at the Hungaroring, the slow and twisty lay-out unsuited to the team's FW37 contender. As a consequence, Williams appears to have lost traction against rival Ferrari which now appears in a position to consistently challenge the dominant Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.

But Massa vows to disagree, and is 100 percent confident that Williams will be back in contention for a podium finish at the following Spa and Monza races, and on tracks which will once again showcase his mount's low-drag and power unit qualities.

"I don’t think what’s happened you will see at every race," Massa told Sky Sports. "We were very strong in the last race, fighting for the podium and even for first place."

“We need to understand because we have another slow circuit, which is Singapore, so we have to do everything we can do to get there and be as competitive as we can. But we will have many, many good tracks for us and I’m sure we will be back on our pace on many tracks that are good for us.”
