Carlos failed to access Q3on Saturday. Early in the race he had the best seat in the house for the Massa-Alonso skirmish but couldn’t join the fray. He waited as long as he could to change tyres in an attempt to get into the points, but disaster struck when the left-front wheel was not securely bolted on.
