UNLISTED PARTS
F1’s technical regulations mandate that all teams must manufacture on their own the car’s monocoque, survival cell, front impact structures, roll-hoops and cage, wings, floor, diffuser, and bodywork.
All the rest is known as the ‘unlisted parts’ and can be purchased, with the list including the power unit, hydraulic transmission, electrical wiring system, control electronics, suspensions (see above), brake ducts, coolers, etc.
