Outdone by the other Ferrari in qualifying, he made his way to second place but couldn’t match Hamilton’s pace. The many yellow flag periods broke his rhythm and Seb had a brain fade on a re-start in running into the Mercedes, and then took an unnecessary swipe at his title rival. After serving a 10 - second penalty he held off the Brit, but clearly could have done better.
