Carlos Sainz (retired) No Score

Carlos was in a lousy mood throughout the GP weekend. A mechanical issue saw him miss out in FP1, then he was seeing red in Q2 not being able to take advantage of Kvyat’s draft. The opening lap was the final straw when, at turn three, he made contact not once but twice with Grosjean then took Massa out. Race stewards didn’t buy his blind spot explanation.
