F1i's driver ratings for the Bahrain GP

Sergio Pérez (seventh, 6 points): 8.5/10

For sure, the yellow flag caused by Sainz ruined his final qualifying run. Checo had the look of someone who had the jelly syphoned out of his doughnut after setting the 18th time in Q1. But on Sunday, the Mexican was sporting a smile from ear to ear. Like his team mate, he put in a mighty opening lap, gaining five positions. He made the most of the caution period to find himself seventh. From there he did his usual outstanding job of looking after his tyres. Pérez is the king of moving up through the field, far behind the favourites.
