From F1 to Indy: a crossover of diverse fortunes

Teo Fabi

Teo Fabi was driving for Bernie Ecclestone and Brabham in 1984 when he committed to racing in the CART PPG IndyCar series. He scrapped Monaco that year to drive a Forsythe Racing March-Cosworth at Indy. When date clashes prevented him from assuming his Brabham duties in F1, the diminutive Italian was replaced by his brother Corrado. Fabi is seen here posing with his March-Porsche in 1989.
