Breaking his duck in China

Motor Racing - Formula One World Championship - Chinese Grand Prix - Race Day - Shanghai, China

When Nico Rosberg joined Mercedes back in 2010, the then 24-year-old had been coming off four solid seasons at Williams where he showed promising potential. But it remained to be seen whether or not the son of 1982 world champion Keke Rosberg was a top-notch driver capable of winning races and challenging for world titles. Few expected him to outshine new team-mate and returning F1 legend Michael Schumacher as comprehensively as he did during their three years together. Rosberg finally broke his duck at the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix when, starting from pole, he stormed to victory in Shanghai to secure his maiden F1 win at the 111th attempt.
