When McLaren rolled out its blue Löwenbräu livery

In 1978, McLaren ran its M26 at the US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in blue Löwenbräu colors for both James Hunt and Patrick Tambay.

Back then, McLaren sponsor Philip Morris owned Miller Brewery, which was in the process of rolling out its Löwenbräu beer brand, justifying the car's change of livery for F1's North American races.
