While most people are taking a well-earned breather after the hectic back-to-back action in Spielberg and Silverstone, not everyone in Formula 1 has been able to put their feet up and relax this week.

Hard at work on Wednesday was McLaren's Stoffel Vandoorne, who was at Magny-Cours with Pirelli. They were working on testing the 2018 full wet weather compound. Vandoorne had the circuit to himself and completed 135 laps during the day. He and the team will be back on track on Thursday for another day of testing before packing up.

Meanwhile Antonio Giovinazzi and Lance Stroll were also both in action with Pirelli. They were at Silverstone, continuing the tyre testing they had begun on Tuesday. The Haas and Williams drivers completed 103 laps between them on their second day. Unlike the first - which had been warm and dry - they got a taste of rain during Wednesday which meant they too were able to try out intermediate and wet tyres as well as the slicks.
