Max Verstappen was hard at work this weekend preparing for the Spanish Grand Prix, taking to the hills around his home in Monaco.

As well as training for the next race, Verstappen was also tweeting support for everyone taking part in today's Wings for Life World Run, a global charity event. Sadly, not everyone gets to take part in a location quite as glamorous as Max's local neighbourhood!

The race starts at 11am GMT at locations around the world. Half an hour later, a moving finish line called the "Catcher Car" - driven in the UK by David Coulthard - starts chasing participants. The first runners passed after a few kilometres are the first to celebrate their accomplishments. The last man and woman to be caught are declared Global Champions - the current record is an impressive 88.44km.

Verstappen isn't alone supporting the Wings for Life World Run. Here's his team mate Daniel Ricciardo also sending his own encouragement to those taking part.
