After Clark

In the spring of 1968, Jackie Oliver had the difficult task of succeeding Jim Clark in the cockpit of the second Lotus 49, alongside new team leader Graham Hill (in the background). The young British driver went on to continue his F1 career with BRM and Shadow before becoming team owner of Arrows, but Clark's shoes were too big to fill. Clark's death had left a huge void, although Graham Hill managed to bring some cause for celebration to Team Lotus by picking the team up and winning the world title that year.
