Look back SAT CAN

In typical Montreal fashion, the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix was filled with drama, twists, and Safety Cars. One of the latter saw all the leaders diving into the pit lane. The ensuing flurry of refuelling stops cost a couple of positions to erstwhile race leader Lewis Hamilton, who exited his box behind Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen and BMW’s Robert Kubica. The pair duly stopped at the red light on pit exit, something Hamilton became aware too late as he rammed the Ferrari. The event prompted his and the Finn's retirements, and paved the way to Kubica’s first and sole career win in Formula One.
