The Senna name returns

Formula 1 Testing, Barcelona

14 years after his uncle was killed at Imola, Bruno Senna first drove a Formula One car in Barcelona. Testing for Honda in November 2008, the team evaluated the young Brazilian with a view to giving him a race seat the following year. Ultimately, Honda's withdrawal saw the Brawn team opt to retain the experience of Rubens Barrichello, and Senna had to wait until 2010 for his grand prix debut. A solid F1 career yielded 46 starts but the shoes proved too big to fill.
